Job description

Everything at Mikropakket is about quality and attention for the parcel shipment. Security and reliability are a priority! The Administrative multifunctional worker is responsible for the correct and optimum performance of the Planning Desk process. You monitor the progress of these processes and adjust them in the event of abnormalities.

Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the administration of all incoming and outgoing parcels and prepare the distribution activities. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that all shipments are processed and can be given to the drivers on time. 
  • You process the returns, pick-ups, undelivered shipments, narcotics and undeliverable parcels. 
  • You follow the distribution instructions and can use the available computer applications to ensure the efficient transfer of the goods. • You work closely with the other Planning desk employees and correctly and completely share process specifications with colleagues. 
  • You contact/align with Planning, Operational Account Support and the Financial administration. 
  • You offer support to warehouse staff and drivers and act as single point of contact in case of problems. 
  • You identify potential for improvement in processes and notify this to the team leader and possibly other Planning desk employees. 
  • You give input for the daily report and in so doing give input to the Planning and Process managers. 
  • You conduct random checks. 
  • You handle cash on delivery and draw up the control state.

Desired profile

  • Secondary Technical Education work/intellectual level. 
  • Knowledge and experience with logistics processes is a bonus. 
  • You can work with PC systems / programs. 
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and French. 
  • Flexible and hands-on mentality. 
  • You work in a shift system, early and late alternately from Monday to Saturday. The planning is known beforehand.
