Shipping to the USA temporarily not possible

New rules from August 29, 2025

The White House has announced that the import rules for packages to the United States (USA) are changing. Where previously no import duties had to be paid for packages up to US$ 800, you now have to pay import duties on all packages entering the USA. These rules apply from August 29, 2025.

What does the new regulation mean?

This legislative change means that the US Postal Service can no longer handle customs clearance from August 29. To date, US Customs has not provided clarity on how these packages can enter the USA. As a result, it will no longer be possible to send packages to the USA from August 23. Until August 23, it is still possible to use the current shipping method (because the packages will still arrive in the United States before August 29).

Letters and documents can still be sent. We are therefore investigating various alternatives to send packages to the United States.
