How do I get in touch?

At PostNL we deliver over 800,000 parcels and 7 million letters throughout the Benelux on a weekday. We see the number of parcels rise every year. We do our utmost to ensure that everything runs smoothly, but unfortunately things do go wrong sometimes. To make sure that the growing number of parcels does not cause longer waiting times at customer service, our customer service colleagues have help from a digital colleague: Sam!

Where can I find Sam?

You will find Sam at the bottom of this page. Click on 'Contact' to start a chat with Sam. Sam will ask you how you want to contact him and will then ask you some questions. He will forward your answers to a customer service representative who will then help you further. If you would like to speak to Sam at another time, you can always find him at the bottom of the pages in Service & Contact.

Where can I find the telephone number of customer service?

Click on the 'Contact' button below. Sam will ask you how you wish to contact him - choose 'Call'. Sam will then ask you some questions. Your answers will be forwarded to a customer service representative who will assist you by phone. If you have answered all the questions Sam asks, he will give you a reference number and a telephone number that you can call to speak to a customer service employee. This way, you no longer have to go through a telephone menu, but directly to the right colleague!

Please note: If you cannot see ‘Call’ , our telephone customer service is closed at that moment. Sam will tell you when our customer service will be open again.

Can I receive a copy of my chat conversation?

We are working on that right now! In the meantime, you can make a copy of your webpage by pressing the 'print screen' button on your keyboard.

Why can’t I complete a contact form anymore?

Instead of a form, you now fill in the necessary details based on the questions that Sam asks you. In the chat with Sam, you choose how you wish to contact PostNL. We then have the details you have entered directly to hand when you are connected to a customer service representative, so we can help you more efficiently with your question or problem.

Can I call you directly without talking to Sam first?

We can help you more effectively when you choose the 'Call' option and answer a number of questions asked by Sam first. You will get a phone number from Sam that will immediately put you through to the right department. And the customer service representative who answers your call has immediately the information you have entered.
