The holiday season traditionally sees a huge increase in online shopping. On the busiest days, we expect to deliver almost twice as many parcels. While we’re well prepared to handle this, forecasts may underestimate the number of parcels to be delivered, leading to some delays. As always, we advise to track your parcel online or using the PostNL app.

Here’s the scoop: when things get busy, a backlog can build up. But because of how we process parcels, we can’t always clear the backlog before starting new ones. So, you may receive your newer parcel first, while an earlier one is still in the works.
It’s busy throughout the holiday season, so we recommend ordering your gifts well in advance. You can also set your delivery preferences so that we know where to deliver your parcel should you not be at home. You can do this in our app or online at postnl.be/delivery-preferences.
