I am a satisfied user of the Online Shipping Service website, why is PostNL stopping this?
It is of great importance to us to keep on meeting customer needs even better and to stay abreast of technological progress. The Online Shipping service no longer fits in with this. The website does not work well on mobile phones or tablets, for example. The new Shipping Flow does. The navigation and design of the site are also in need of renewal.
Are there any additional costs if I use another system to send my parcels?
No, there are no additional costs. You only pay for the products you purchase in this new channel, just like with the Online Shipping service.
What will happen to the Online Shipping Service website after June?
After May, all visitors to onlineverzendservice.be will be linked directly to the Online Shipping Flow at postnl.be for sending parcels. Eventually the onlineverzendservice.be website will be taken offline.
What happens to my (login) data? Are they migrated also?
No, they will not be migrated. Unfortunately, this is not possible due to the outdated systems behind onlineverzendservice.be. At postnl.be you can create a PostNL Account, which will make using the Online Shipment Flow easier. However, this is not a prerequisite for use.
